Default on payment of membership contributions or periodic subscriptions on their due dates:\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

In case the member company defaults on or abstains from payment of the membership contribution or periodic subscriptions due thereon within the prescribed time limits, the Fund shall take the following measures:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

  • Notifying the company and instructing it to pay via any means of communication between the member and the Fund, either by certified mail with return receipt requested, or by e-mail to the address specified by the member and approved thereby for communication with the Fund, or by text messages to the phone number specified by the member and approved thereby for communication with the Fund.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
  • In case the company fails to pay within fifteen days as of the date of instructing it to do so, a daily delay interest shall be charged on the basis of the credit and debit rate announced by the Central Bank of Egypt plus three percentage points annually, as of the day following the prescribed payment deadline.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
  • In case the member company defaults on or abstains from payment of the amounts due thereon for a period of thirty days or more as of the date of being instructed to pay, the Financial Regulatory Authority shall be notified accordingly to take appropriate measures against the member company. Also, each of the Egyptian Stock Exchange and the central depository and registry company shall be notified of same to take their respective measures.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
  • The Fund\u2019s board of directors may publish a disclosure comprising the violating member companies on the Fund\u2019s website or by any other means approved by the Financial Regulatory Authority.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
